The Sweet – “Action”

The 2nd track of this weeks show is “Action” from The Sweet. Everyone knows these guys for “Ballroom Blitz” and maybe “Fox On The Run”. For artists like Motley Crue and Billy Idol’s Steve Steven’s these guys had a huge impact. The Sweet were one of the bands that came out of the glam movement of the early 70’s, and as you dig into some of their material you see how great of straight up rock band they really were. Great riffs, lots of swing and swagger, and some incredible layered harmony vocals.
