Episode 62 – Wake Me If I’m Dreamin’

Hello my loyal lovers of rock! I am sorry that I have been away so long, but I return with many fine gifts to enrich the kingdom!

Since I was away lots of crazy shit has happened, and I am sure that Costas and the Kardasians are behind the entire thing! The world is being pussified, and over run with stupidity and if you trace it all back to the source you will find Bob Costas with his pink eye drooling over the Arminian princesses, and picking the back hair out of his teeth!

This show is packed with new music! Lots of it! We have some great new bands, and some bands that we already know and love who have some great new stuff out for our listening pleasure!

Hour 1 – Steve Stevens’ Atomic Playboys open the show with a track from their lone release called “Soul On Ice”. Monster Truck follows, and a new track from Kyng round out the first block of the show. To all of our surprise I am sure, Wolfmother has a new album out, I have yet to find it on Amazon, but iTunes has it, and says its been out since March! I picked it up, and I was thrilled to hear Andrew’s latest work. He has done a great job on this, and his influences are all over the board on this one. There are new tunes from Royal Blood, Cage The Gods, and Tesla as well. And one of my new discoveries are a band called Radio Moscow, I am loving the album MAGICAL DIRT, so I share some of that with you, and just to make things tasty I mix in a couple of classics from Deep Purple and Mountain.

Hour 2 – After seeing Slash & Myles Kennedy the other night perform an amazing acoustic set for a private show in Tampa, I was very excited to see that another new track has been released from the upcoming WORLD ON FIRE album, its called “30 Years To Life”, and I start the hour with that. John Corabi and Motley Crue follow Slash and friends with “Hooligan’s Holiday”, and English Thorn rounds out the first block. I play you new music from Cinderella guitar slinger Jeff Labar’s new solo release, and more new stuff from Honey, Mach 22, and another US iTunes bonus track from the Rival Sons! Classic Rock magazine is celebrating its 200th issue right now, and inside the monster sized mag they have a list of the 200 greatest songs (in their estimation) that have been released since their birth. California Breed’s amazing “All Falls Down” is on the list, and I close the show with it!

Don’t be a Costas!
