Episode 39 – He Never Betrays What He Thinks

Hello everyone, this week I did the show in Catoosa, OK at the Hard Rock Casino.  Nice place!   Had a chance to catch up with some old friends who I feature some tunes from on this weeks show.

Hour 1 – The Who opens the show with their classic “The Real Me”, one of the most incredible songs in their catalog in my opinion.  Songs from Orchid, Queensryche, Scorpion Child, Slade, The Delta Riggs and more in hour one.  I play a request for Blue Oyster Cult, and some more spacey rock from Captain Beyond and Kadavar round out the hour.  Free Fall closes out the first hour of the show with their plodding powerhouse track “Attila”.

Hour 2 – The Sweet kicks off the hour, along with The Rival Sons and a classic from Heart.  Then a little tip of the hat to some friends that I had a chance to catch up with this week.  It was great to see Audley Freed and Rob Kearns of Cry Of Love fame, both now playing with Cheryl Crow.  Then I had a chance to visit with Damon Johnson and Ricky Warrick of Black Star Riders, and of course Damon was an earlier guest on this show.  They are writing new material for the BSR upcoming record now.  Also got to see Jeff LaBar of Cinderella whose son is in the new band Mach 22.  And finally my dear friend Mr. John Corabi and his clan, it was great to catch up with the most interesting man in the world!  So I have some tracks in the show from Cry Of Love, Brother Cane, The Scream, and Cinderella. Joe Perry, Dirty Streets, and Black Sabbath wrap up the show in grand fashion.
