Episode 35 – Always Living In The Final Hour

This weeks episode of The Noize Faktory was a fun one to put together.  I have included lots of classics in this show, songs that you all know and love, some different versions of them, some cover version, some traditional classic cuts.

Hour 1 – Wolfmother opens the show with their song “Joker And The Thief”, a great opening track, lots of power and groove.  I include a track from Walking Papers, a rare bonus track from our friends in Monster Truck, a new song from Jeff Lynne and Electric Light Orchestra which is featured in the film AMERICAN HUSTLE, and the debut of a new track from Bad Barber’s independent release.   The hour also features Billy Gibbons’ take on the Beatles classic “Revolution”, The Sweet, and Deep Purple.

Hour 2 – The soundtrack to MTV News throughout the late 80’s and 90’s opens this hour, Megadeth’s “Peace Sells”.  I found a great live version of Rival Sons “Manifest Destiny”, and an incredible demo track from Steve Marriott and Peter Frampton which was the last recording Steve made before his passing.  Humble Pie was planning on reuniting and he and Frampton had begun work on new material, these songs can be found on Steve Marriott’s I NEED YOUR LOVE release which came out last year.  The hour also features Guns N Roses, Scorpion Child, Aerosmith, Mountain, StoneRider, and The Temperance Movement.

Hour 3 – I send you on a little trip back to the 1980’s for part of this hour with classic tracks from Twisted Sister, Ratt, Quiet Riot, Whitesnake, and White Zombie.  But in the spirit of keeping you guessing I include some new tracks from Billy Idol, Europe, and Bruce Kulick, as well as some songs from The Answer and The Screaming Eagles.  They all sound pretty good together.

The Noize Faktory is not the same 3 songs from the same 5 bands!
