Episode 60 – Something To Remember Me By

Hello my fellow rock minions!  We lost another great guitarist this week in Mr. Dick Wagner.  He is most famous for being Alice Cooper’s co-writer, and ghost guitarist on many albums of the 70s, and his official discography is almost unbelievable.  He was a good man, who I had the pleasure to meet, and he has a must read book called “Not Only Women Bleed”.  Go out and get this one, you will thank me!

Hour 1 – We do a nice tip of the hat to Dick Wagner to start the show.  I offer up a few tracks from Alice Cooper that he was featured on, as well as the Aerosmith classic “Train Kept A Rollin’” and Kiss’ “Sweet Pain”, both of which feature Wagner.  The hour continues to roll with songs from UFO, Montrose, Tesla, and Canadian newcomers Royal Blood.

Hour 2 – Jake E. Lee gets us started with a guest vocal from Sass Jordan, a little Scorpion Child, and Screaming Eagles as well.  I play a dark and brooding track from Motley Crue’s 1994 album, a new one from Honey, and one of my favorites from Leslie West.  I then wrap the hour with tracks from Kadavar, California Breed, Deep Purple, and Queensryche!

Enjoy!
